AVGOUSTIDIS CONSTRUCTION came to Ruler to design and build a custom website that reflects the brand and performs. We led the project end to end, from concept and design through to development and launch. Avgoustidis is an Athens-based construction company combining architecture and development, with a focus on residential projects across the southern suburbs since 1965.
The scope covered custom website design, UI/UX design, front-end and CMS development, a responsive build and on-page SEO. Built with WordPress, GSAP, Swiper, Bootstrap. Every screen was crafted around how AVGOUSTIDIS CONSTRUCTION’s audience actually discovers, explores and engages — the result is a fast, responsive experience that puts the brand and its content first, and is built to grow.
LIGHTHOUSE OPTIMIZATION
A homepage built on full-bleed imagery and video has every excuse to be slow. AVGOUSTIDIS CONSTRUCTION is not. On desktop Lighthouse first content paints in 0.6 s, the largest element lands in 1.4 s, total blocking time is 0 ms and layout shift is 0.006, so nothing moves while you read. The hero media carries fetchpriority="high", 7 images below the fold load lazily and font and script origins are preconnected. Accessibility scores 96 with labelled forms, alt text on every image, structured data. SEO scores 92. The open flags: Accessibility at 96 comes down to text contrast on a few elements; SEO at 92 comes down to the “Links are not crawlable” audit. Performance is design nobody screenshots. We do it anyway.
